A traditional South Indian piece known as a Jada Billai (hair brooch) with integrated Maatil (side chains). It is designed to be worn over a hair bun or at the start of a braid.
Central Medallion (Jada Billai): The focal point is a large, circular disc featuring intricate Temple Jewellery craftsmanship.
Layered Chains (Maatil): Extending from the center are three layers of delicate gold-beaded chains. These are meant to be pinned into the hair, draping elegantly to provide a "jaal" (net) effect.
Ornamental Drops: A decorative Jhumka (bell-shaped drop) hangs from the bottom of the medallion, accented with small red and green stones (kemp stones) and gold bead droplets for movement
